Vintage Breitling Chronograph In Cushion Case For $1000 – $2000? Yes Please
Coming up in next week’s Antiquorum sale is the Breitling you see to the right.? It’s not a Navitimer or anything of historical importance, but it is a killer-looking vintage chronograph from 1970 that is going to go cheap; thus its appearance on the almighty ‘Dink. You really could not ask for a better beginner’s vintage watch.? Its got a great, well known name on the dial, a solid chronograph movement, a unique “cushion” case (of which Breitling no longer produces) and last but not least, the estimate for this watch is only $1000-$2000.? On top of that, there is NO reserve, meaning if people don’t bid on this for some reason, it could sell for a few hundred dollars.? Tough to argue with that.

The white on black dial, the colorful registers and second hand, and the unique case of this Breitling all make for a fantastic watch, one sure to catch peoples attention.? To us, it looks a lot like one of our favorite vintage chronographs, the Heuer Camaro.
We’d sure love to see this one go to a Hodinkee reader, because it may just be one of the best deals in the entire auction.? Click here for details.
